Speaking of Christmas break, this year is my last 'official' one and is much needed. I am exhausted and am ready for these 15+ hour days to be over.
And maybe I will have time to fold this basket of laundry that has been sitting there for over 10 days now.

And cook a real meal (the grilled cheese I made last night that set off the smoke alarm doesn't quite count)....although that is a regular monthly occurrence when I am cooking.
Austin drivers irritate me. Especially ones that go 60 mph in the fast lane on the highway. I've been up since 4:45am and just want to get home. Don't frustrate me more.
We have a ton of deer in our neighborhood. And it is mating season. AKA: lots of hormonal crazy deer running out in front of you without warning while you are driving. Apparently they think similar to kindergartners. "Let's show our love by chasing the opposite sex."
Lots of people put inmyopinion way too personal stuff on their blog. I guess that's why some people get paid to blog and I don't. Oh, and the fact that my life is not near interesting enough. But if it means no drama and stuff that is no one's business but your family's on my blog, I'll take it. Because really, facebook is creepy enough as it is. Let's leave personal stuff off the world wide web no need to cause more drama than necessary.
My kid is trying to sit up already...like pulling himself up with his ab muscles when he's in the swing or bouncer. And will sit up 30sec-1min by himself without falling over. Is that normal?!
Christmas lights are coming up everywhere. I love this time of year.
Next week is a holiday favorite at the Ray household. The Lonestar Showdown.
We have collected a few house divided items over the last year. But this is by far our favorite! (Although the feeling is not mutual.)
Dr.'s Office, Daycare, stranger at Walmart....Don't call me momma. I'm not your momma. Only my children can call me that.
My child just watched an entire Baby Einstein movie without making a peep and was totally mesmerized. He loves the Office and enjoys watching football with Sean. Yes I know there is a big debate on tv and infants. There's also debate on sleeping on their tummy, feeding them rice cereal at 3 months, and putting your child in a pot on the stove.
But how could I deprive my child the joy of watching tv? (Insert unwanted parental advice here.)
Until I have more witty thoughts- enjoy.
