Side effects may include: restless leg syndrome, insomnia, and increased appetite.

Also known as: impatience with your lab group because you've sat their for 3 hours writing a one page paper 6 different ways, witty 6am blog posts, and an excuse to eat as much as you want for a week. :)

I'm a big believer in mind over matter. I think a lot of 'side effects' are brought on because we MAKE our mind believe them. When you look at studies and clinical trials for common drugs, typically if a side effect is "common" between 10-20% of the people experience it. But if you talk to someone in the pharmacy or even in general about their medications its amazing how many people experience side effects. Myself include.
Because really, I'm a college grad student, got no more than 6 hours of sleep every night but TWO in the last 3 weeks, and here it is 6am, 3 hours before I need to get up and I'm wide awake. And have been since 4:30. So I mean I should be exhausted right? If not, I will be in a few hours about 1/2 through round 2 of pharmacy school interviews (which I'm co-chair of this year.)

Ok enough of my prednisone ramblings. What's going on in my life

Sean and I are doing pre-marital counseling. And really enjoying it.
We found a place to live and it's a grown-up apartment we are really excited about.

We're praying daily about where God will put us in August. The pharmacy rotation choices are in, it's now up to a randomized number system. (Which He has complete control over thank goodness!)

I am knee deep in school, wedding planning, and bridesmaid duties for 2 weddings in May! I have at least 6 showers this semester, and that's just between the 3 of our weddings! (Two of which I am planning- so much fun!)
And look at that handsome redhead I get to call mine in 5 months and 3 weeks. Just a glimpse at our engagement pictures we got a good while ago that I haven't had time to enjoy yet!

And if you need a photographer or ANYTHING creatively designed try Amber. She is an incredible woman using her gifts to glorify God! (And where our Save the Dates, invitations, etc. etc. are coming from...and engagement pictures!)

I've rambled enough. Maybe I'll go be productive until 9.

I did not have a great time when my brother came to visit and did not still managed to pull a nice grade on my test afterwards.

Sean and I did not both have car trouble/get hit in the same day...totaling in over 1500 dollars in car repairs. (Nothing major!)

I am not overly excited about seeing my best friend on Sunday, and my mom the week after that. I am definitely not giving myself two spring breaks--one while Amanda is here, and then my own.

I am not overly excited that I get to marry my best friend in less than 6 months. It's not finally starting to fly by.

Saturday while walking through Academy I did not see the cutest Longhorn Baby Bows and I definitely did not think twice about buying them. I recently gotten baby fever even though I'm not getting married for another 6 months and our plan is not to have kids for several years after that.
I mean after all there is NO way that those baby bows will be there in a few years when we start having kids.

Not Me Monday!

It's been a few weeks, but here's everything I definitely didn't do this past week.

I did not get overly ecstatic when my fiance bought me a new DVD player and the first season of Reba.

I did not lose my voice for two days last week..the same two days that I happen to be helping run student interviews for next year's incoming pharmacy class. (As my co-chair says, I have been stripped of my "power").

After a very unproductive weekend academia wise I did not talk to my best friend from high school for almost 2 hours on the phone. I would never be that irresponsible when I had so much school work to do.

After previous conversation I most definitely did not get on the phone with my fiance and then watch tv without proceeding to do any school work last night.
