11 months!

11 months with you is so different than 10 months.  A week before you hit 11 months it clicked. You figured out how to make those knees and hands move to get you somewhere...and for a week you would scoot just a few feet forward to get what you want. Now, three weeks later I have to play "find the baby" about every 20 minutes! You aren't one to follow me around the house whining and fussing. Quite the opposite in fact. I go to pee and come back and you weren't anywhere within the 20 feet vicinity that I left you.

 

Where is Ellington? 

 

Mastering the stairs, pulling out all the wipes, squirting out all the antibiotic cream... 

  

Unloading the dishwasher, finding the cookie sheet drawer (your favorite!), or climbing more stairs!

 Eating...

Swimming 

Or chasing that orange ball you have to carry with you everywhere we go! 

The world is so exciting when you are mobile and you are embracing it with all 15lbs of your tiny self! Happy 11 months sweet E!

We celebrated Zayden's third year! 

 

 

With so many snacks,

And friends galore, 

We'll have to do it again when he turns four! 

(And mom didn't even get any pictures! When I get some more from friends I will post some additional ones!)

3 years with Z

Happy Birthday Mr. Z man!

Love trucks. trains. balls. buses. motorcycles. anything with wheels basically. Picky eater but getting better. Lives for school and play dates with Jacob. Knows right of left, all letter sounds and letters. counts to 100 with 10 prompts. Still working on dressing yourself and being a less messy eater. Adores his sister and makes already keeping her in line. Obsessed with the drums and has a natural rhythm. Favorite breakfast is Cheerios, OJ, and a Curious George or Thomas episode. Loves to yell Yahtzee when he rolls five in a row. Has wonderful manners and a memory as sharp as a tack. Sleeps with zebra, nemo, "bebo," dog, and Jingle. Knows all the words to the UT fight song and that the way to his daddy's heart is "Gig'em Aggies!" Can be found driving his cars or his motorized Viper if he's not organizing tea parties for his sister. Loves life and makes us grin on a daily basis with his funny pharses, joy, and passion.
