A 'real' post...

I have it all together. My kids clothes always match, my Pinterest projects are always done and my 'meal' plan is followed through every week. My toddler only gets 30 minutes of TV a week, and baby sleeps thru the night.

Let's be real.

I have it all together.
If by all together you mean we all make it out the door in one piece 15 minutes later than we are suppose too almost every single time, then yes, I have it all together.

My kids clothes always match
The other day my husband pulled up at work to drop something off and Z was in a brown and orange shirt with navy shorts (that were too small!). He's in that awful in between stage where clothes are too small or too big.

my Pinterest projects are always done
I finished my burlap wreathed last week that  I pinned a year and a half ago and bought supplies for 9 months ago! And by finished I mean it has an "R" on it and its hanging on my front door...but it's still not done.

and my 'meal' plan is followed through every week
Does anyone actually follow their meal plan through completely? Most weeks it's "Meal plan?" What "meal plan?" Or if I do get around to making a meal plan my best friend calls and says "Wanna order a pizza, or grab Chickflia so the toddlers can play?" And who could turn that offer down?

My toddler only gets 30 minutes of TV a week, and my infant doesn't get any TV.
Most days it's more like an hour. On Thursday it was two hours. Because it was just. one. of. those. days.

In reality, I haven't printed pictures from over a year ago, it's almost April and I have yet to start our 2012 photo book, let alone my wedding scrapbook from 4 years ago. I have all the normal problems of 'dishes in my sink, clothes in my dryer I've ran through 4x, and clothes that have been ready to be picked up from the dryer cleaners for a week now.' Overdue library books, spit up on my pants, and a baby layin in my lap that hasn't had a bath in two days because plans changed and she had to come to work with me instead of go home with dad.

My baby still doesn't sleep thru the night at 6 months (apparently this is a huge rite of passage as a mom...and defines how 'good' of a parent you are.) and in fact my toddler has woken up the past 6 nights screaming bloody murder (for who knows what reason). I drink WAY more Dr. Pepper than I should, and have a huge weakness of golden oreo cookies these days. I haven't used my gym pass in almost a year (except for the two weeks I faithfully went in February) and justify it by saying I'll get my money's worth when the pool opens in May.

And I obviously I have an obsession with putting things in parentheses.
